This work is personal, and it always will be.
The support he received during school was solid, but what came next felt uncertain. Then it hit me: After school, people work. That’s where independence is built. That’s where confidence grows. That’s where people feel like they belong.
So, I began learning everything I could about how to prepare neurodivergent young adults for life beyond the classroom.
While building a path forward for my own son, I realized how many other families were asking the same questions I was. That’s when WINvision Works was born — a place dedicated to helping neurodivergent individuals transition into adulthood with confidence, support, and real opportunities.
Through his teenage years, one question kept rising in my mind: What happens after school?
As my neurodivergent son grew up, I spent years navigating appointments, therapies, and school meetings, always trying to open new doors and experiences for him. I quickly learned that he experienced the world in his own unique way and that every milestone came with its own learning curve.
